Raised by real, local ranchers

That's us. Mack & Abby. We are the first generation, husband and wife duo who run the ranch. It isn’t always easy but we do it because we love it.

We raise the cows, sheep and pigs, we pack the orders, and we are the ones you will meet on pick up day. The meat you get is what we feed our family every day.

Nutrient Dense & Delicious Grass Fed Beef You Can Trust

When you get a beef share you also:

  • Don't have to worry about food shortages or price increases
  • Get peace of mind that you are feeding your family healthy meat
  • Never worry about what's for dinner again
  • Can feel good about eating healthy and supporting local ranchers

Can I customize my bulk meat order at all?

Sure, email is us after checkout and we will arrange your requests. *Customization is only available for half and whole beef, lamb and pork.*

Will I get bones and organs with my bulk meat orders?

Yes, simply select the tab stating you want bones and organs and we will ship it along with your meat!

How much freezer space will I need?

See below for approx. space required.

  • 1/8 beef takes up 2 cubic feet
  • 1/4 beef takes up 4 cubic feet
  • 1/2 beef takes up 8 cubic feet
  • Whole beef takes up 16 cubic feet

How is the meat shipped?

Our meat is shipped frozen in insulated shipping liners and frozen gel packs.

How does my meat come?

All of our meat is vacuum sealed to keep it fresh! Vac sealed meat can actually last in your freezer indefinitely.

Is your meat dry-aged?

Our beef is dry-aged between 14-21 days, and our lamb is dry-aged for 7-14 days for optimal flavour and tenderness. We work closely with our butcher using his experience for optimal hanging times.

Are you organic?

We are not ‘certified’ organic. As Joel Salatin likes to put it, we are  beyond organic, as an organic certification can still mean confinement, use of antibiotics, soy fed, etc. We believe in full transparency and love the fact that our customers can get to know exactly where their meat comes from. This to us more important that a certification and avoids the red tape, paper work and extra cost to the rancher and consumer.

Is your beef and lamb grass fed and finished?

Yes our beef and lamb are 100% grass fed and finished, which means they are fed no grains. They spend their entire lives out on pasture grazing native grasses and legumes, while being supplemented hay and stock piled forage in the winter.
